GS1 UK round table on implementing new PEPPOL and GS1 standards
Implementing the new e-Procurement standards around PEPPOL and GS1 are high on the agenda of healthcare providers. Some providers are embracing the mandated new coding standards as part of their procurement strategy, others are still lacking behind and need to make more progress in order to meet the 2020 target.
A recent round table at the London headquarters of GS1 UK brought together trusts, suppliers and technology providers to discuss the benefits and challenges of implementing the new standards.
