Thornton & Partners selects iSOFT Business Solutions to supply new finance and procurement solution
Thornton & Partners, Ireland's largest firm of loss adjusters, has selected Integrated Business Software and Solutions to supply the organisation's new finance and procurement solution. IBSS won the contract to supply its world-class leading product, Integra Open Enterprise, after an extensive and competitive tendering process against some very stiff opposition. Integra is developed, implemented and supported by IBSS, and will provide Thornton & Partners with a solid financial control environment coupled with easy access to business intelligence and workflow. Thornton & Partners' primary business is claims management on behalf of Irish and multi-national insurance companies. The company's Head Office is based in Dublin, with 11 more offices evenly distributed throughout the country. Thornton & Partners decided to review its entire IT requirements, to cater for a rapidly expanding and changing environment, and employed Cornwell Consultants to help the company decide upon a new system. IBSS was able to offer a solution to address the unique requirements of the company, covering both the finance and procurement areas, which, in turn, linked to third-party Claims Management, CRM and HR applications. Eamonn Morris, Managing Director of IBSS, said, "We are delighted to secure this contract with Thornton & Partners, and to begin a business relationship which we hope will be mutually beneficial. We are continually developing and investing in Integra, and our solutions have enabled our customers to gain significant competitive advantage, streamline business process flows, increase efficiency and productivity, and achieve significant cost savings. We have developed a reputation for delivering our projects in partnership with our customers, on time and within budget." Terry Carroll, Group Finance Director of Thornton & Partners, said, "Following a competitive tender process, we selected IBSS based on the functionality of its financials and procurement solution and on its vast experience of implementing solutions. IBSS' experience was an important factor in our decision, as we needed a financials system that could support our growing operations. We are looking forward to working with the team at IBSS to ensure we get the most value from the solution."
