Louth County Council Increases Efficiencies with Online Service
Louth County Council has selected an Online Customer Account Service solution from Integrated Business Software and Solutions to help control costs, improve customer service and increase efficiencies. The solution will allow Louth County Council customers to log in to a secure site, where they can view their payment history and account statements and make payments online. By automating payment, this system will reduce both the amount of manual receipting required and the number of telephone queries received, particularly as take-up on the service increases. The system will also integrate with the Council's Financial Management System. Derek Kehoe, Sales Director at Integrated Business Software and Solutions, commented that "Customers are looking for new ways to manage costs, maintain margins and boost efficiencies, and our Online Customer Account solution helps meet all of these needs by streamlining business processes and reducing transactional costs". David Storey of Louth County Council explains, "We wanted to provide our customers with anytime online access to account information and online payment options, and to deliver a system that supports our common objectives of reducing or even eliminating a paper system, to shrink processing costs and increase efficiencies. The solution will help us provide an improved customer service and a more efficient way of making payment, which will eventually result in improved cash flow," continues David. "It is a win-win scenario, and one more way Louth County Council is making it easier for our customers to do business with us." For further information please click here.
