iSOFT Business Solutions partners with NEP to deliver an NHS Performance Management solution
Integrated Business Software and Solutions, a market leader in providing world-class finance and procurement software and bespoke solutions to service-centric organisations, today announced that it has won a contract to work in partnership with NEP Shared System Group to provide a world-class Performance Management platform to the NHS.
The partnership will see NEP and IBSS implement Oracle Hyperion, a proven market leader with superior end-user reporting and analysis tools, unparalleled ease of use and rapid implementation; the Hyperion solution will help NEP customers with today's complex NHS financial reporting requirements.
The agreement extends an existing partnership with NEP, in which IBSS hosts and manages the current Oracle NEP shared system platform.

This takes IBSS into an important new area of the health sector, where we believe this integrated performance management system will be well received." The findings highlighted a need for a solution that offered centralised, cost-effective performance management and that supported Planning and Budgeting, Forecasting, Service Line Reporting and Financial Board Packs."
Crucially, the solution also needed to provide a flexible platform to support NHS Organisations' future information analysis needs, such as IFRS Reporting, Patient Costing, TFR3 and Workforce Planning.

The first NHS Organisations are on target to go live on the system in November 2009.
