Exciting New Project Starts at Hart District Council

Hart District Council has decided to replace its financial software solution. The Council was formed in 1974 from the merger of the former Fleet Urban District Council and Hartley Wintney Rural District Council, and now serves a population of approximately 89,000 in around 36,500 households.

Via an outsourced service arrangement that has been in place with Capita Local Government Services (Capita LGS) since 2009, Capita IB Solutions has been contracted to implement and support its Integra Finance and Procurement Solution, replacing the Council’s existing finance system.

This project will provide Capita LGS with an effective financial management platform, which can be used to provide services to other local authorities in the future. As well as addressing the Council’s requirements, the new system will also provide better budgeting tools.

Capita LGS has put together an experienced team which will work hand in hand with the Council to ensure a successful project. Implementation has already started, and the planned go-live for the system is December 2012.
